Instructions about vinyl records *

Hello, friends! I know that some of you collect or want to start to collecting LP. It’s very nice!
I’ve a little experience with this, so I’d like to give you some tips and instructions about how to preserve your vinyl records, because you’ll deal with some sensitive things.

Well, firstly, you must keep your vinyls in a fresh place, without sun incidence, because vinyl is a material made of petroleum and therefore it can melt or warp. Store it in a disc shelf, arranged standing.

Your vinyls needs to be cleaned periodically. So, when you clean them, don’t use alcohol or any other chemical product, by no means. Just use a piece compressed of cotton moistened, sliding it softly on the record surface, counterclockwise. Also, be careful at don’t take the vinyl with dirty fingers or leaving fingerprints. (not to hold)

Another important thing is the care with the needle of your record player. It’s very very sensitive and can twist easily, interfering with the hearing.

Finally, I hope I’ve helped you with these tips. Now it’s up to you!!! Enjoy yourself, listening to good songs, of course! I’m really happy to have one more friend collecting long play!
